Patrick L. McCormick, CEO
Credentials, Qualifications, CV & Bio

Mr. Patrick L. McCormick is CEO of ATC Vantage Inc. and owner of ATC Consultant.  Patrick provides expert consulting to attorneys, governments and private organizations worldwide. Patrick directs SMS instruction, audits, evaluations and implementation for all aviation entities.

Patrick started his aviation career as Private pilot and continued the aviation pathway into the US Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller for seven years (wurtsmith AFB (OSC), Homestead AFB (HST)). Pat’s aviation career continued in Air Traffic Control in the FAA earning certifications at Lunken (LUK), Toledo (TOL), Miami (MIA) and Tampa (TPA) International Airports. Patrick has over 35 years of experience in Air Traffic Control.

Mr. McCormick has held positions as supervisor at Miami Tower and Air Traffic Manager at Albert Whitted Tower. He’s been an ATC training specialist, quality assurance specialist and airspace and procedures specialist. Patrick has performed Air Safety Investigator duties with the NTSB for six years as an Air Traffic Control expert and participated in numerous aircraft accident investigation. He studied Aviation Administration at the University of Northern Kentucky. Patrick has held a Control Tower Operator Examiner’s Certification and is a Private Pilot.

 

Theresa A. McCormick, President
Project Development

Mrs. Theresa A. McCormick is majority-owner of ATC Vantage LLC .  As business and technology administrator, she runs ATC Vantage LLC. Theresa  designs all our publications, advertisements, website design, and courseware.  Theresa also instructs and researches SMS for all aviation entities. Theresa’s years of experience with design, communications, accounting, course development, and computer software has helped ATC Vantage LLC grow into a solid nation-wide business.

Theresa re-started her career after raising four children. She is Florida state certified as a SAC trainer (School Advisory Council) for administrators, teachers and other community members.  (SAC is a legislative requirement for all public schools in Florida).  She has also developed several courses for SAC that is being used state-wide. Theresa was selected to participate in a select, small group of "stakeholders" for the Dept. of Education (DOE) in evaluating innovative ideas and changes in Florida education. Theresa's personal website was listed as a SAC resource - the only private resource - for over a decade. She has held numerous offices in both County and State SAC organizations.

Theresa also has owned and operated her own business in website design for over 10 years. Theresa’s website development skills has touched dozens of business internet portals attracting viewers through clean, attractive and common-sense design.

As part of her strong community commitment, she has volunteered through the past 20 years in schools, community and church functions. Theresa has been acknowledged through the years with numerous awards for her dedication and hard work. This commitment continues through to today – always finding time to volunteer for the benefit of others.

Mrs. McCormick studied business at Columbia-Greene College (Dean’s List) in upstate New York and St. Petersburg College in Florida.  


 

Bruce W. Joseph
Vice-President of Business Development

A veteran Airline Transport, corporate and general aviation Pilot, Bruce retired as an airline pilot from a major US airline after spending nearly 30 years in aviation where, among other things, he served as an International Captain for a part 121 legacy carrier, Safety Officer and Accident Investigator before attending law school. Bruce has been an active general aviation pilot and Certified Flight Instructor logging over 13,000 incident and accident free hours as a professional pilot much of which while flying in command of jet airliners. As an undergraduate, Bruce attended Southern Illinois University where he studied Business and Aviation. Bruce graduated with a BS in Business Administration and a BS in Aviation Management. Bruce is a graduate of the highly acclaimed University of Southern California, College of Engineering, Aviation Safety Program. Bruce also attended the Transportation Safety Institute specializing in Human Factors in Accident Investigation and the NTSB Training Academy Industry Accident Investigation courses among other professional training courses too numerous to mention.

As an Airline Transport Pilot, Bruce is type rated on the DC-9, Airbus 319/320/321 and Boeing 757/767 in both domestic and international operations. He is a member of the International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI), National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA), Society of Automotive Engineers Human Factors Division (SAE G-10) and the Association for Aviation Psychology (AAP).

Bruce created and taught several aviation safety courses for the Air Line Pilots Association as well as holding many safety and security related management positions for the nation’s largest pilots union and the largest non-governmental air safety organization in the world. Bruce combines his passion for safety with his love of motorcycling and teaching by serving as a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certified/Rider’s Edge Instructor teaching motorcycle safety at various locations since 2000.

Professionally, Bruce now serves as a highly sought after aviation consultant on the local, national and international levels in matters concerning air crash litigation, safety, security and regulatory compliance, as well as representing pilots and maintenance technicians in safety related matters before the FAA.
